1. Concept.
The energy harvesting is the technology to convert the energy such as power, pressure and vibration into electric power.
2. Piezoelectric generator.
- Pass external mechanical energy on to a Piezoelectric material.
- Convert the transfered energy to electric power using Piezo-electric materials.
- Accumulate the converted energy in Super-capacitor or secondary battery through electric circuit.
3. According to the size of device, energy generator is classified between Macro scale and Micro scale.
- Macro scale : Energy generation by Human Activity movement and car vibration.
- Micro scale : Charging sensor or small electronic device by Small vibration and shock.
4. Strength
- Adding various modes to the existing vibration mode, improvement of the generation quantity.
- Designing modes that are different in size, improvement of Flexibility.
5. Application Area.
- Driving power of the sensor located on inaccessible point.
- Emergency electrical system for mobile phone
- Night lighting by vibration of wind and bridge.
